Bicycle Friendly Driving Course

May 18th, Saturday, Starting at 11 AM Bicycle Colorado will be driving down from Denver to present a Bicycle Friendly Driving Course. This will go from 11 AM until 12:30 PM. The doors will open at 10 AM and we will serve coffee, doughnuts, fruit and quiche from Joanies deli. We need everyone to sign up on line at so we can order enough quiche.

Covering Laws for bicyclists and motorists, How to navigate on-street bicycle infrastructure. Common crashes between motorists and bicyclists and how to avoid them.
Upon successful completion of the class, participants will receive a Bicycle-Friendly Driver Certificate and sticker to display on their vehicle.

The Course has already been offered in Arapahoe County, Aurora, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver, Lakewood, Littleton, Longmont, Sterling and Westminster.

Starting a 1 PM there will be a short 4 mile ride to promote cycling safety and recognizing those cyclists that have been injured or killed while riding their bikes.
