Mountain Top Cycling Club is looking into hosting a Mountain bike race for the Rocky Mountain State Games July 23rd. It was two days but now has been condensed to one day. July 23rd.

Aspen Valley Ranch is the venue for the Rocky Mountain State Games. Having races for ages 2 – 18. The High School students will be the biggest part as they consider using Aspen Valley in their NICA National Interscholastic Cycling Association schedule in 2017. The NICA Colorado league has over 700 high school students that race each other, Aspen Valley would be a location for a 5th race or a sole location. For ages 2 – 5 Strider Bikes will be coming in from Boulder to set up an Adventure Zone and will have a guaranteed two race heats. Trophies and ribbons will be given out. Elementary and Middle School Students will also be competing by grade levels. 6th, 7th and 8th, K-1, 2 -3 and 4-5 grade. There will be girls and boys categories in each event.

Our registration numbers are low so if kids show up they probably will win a medal. Then when Colorado Springs hosts their Aug. 5th Olymic Celebration they can walk around with a big medal around their necks.

Over 15,000 spectators were on hand to enjoy the 2015 events.

Registration for athletes is available at along with complete information on each sport, schedules and much more.
